A private life of a person need to remain private at all times. There is so much that happens in our lives that we would not want to display it in public for the rest of the world to see or to learn about it. This is not possible though with celebrities because both their carers and private lives seem to interest all people out there especially their fans. The gossip is in fact what many people prefer however bad it was. A celebrity like gail porter, despite the good carer she has created for herself, she has been said to have a very bad personal life such that she attempted suicide someday. Simply because she is a celebrity, such an information is a real blow to her because it has painted her to be someone else different from what her fans believed she was. But this does not change what she is. Celebrities are celebrated because of the good thing they do and their private life, in my opinion should not make us see them in a different perspective. |

Some times ago, we developed our talents just for fun. Those people who could sing sang because they loved singing and those who acted sod so to entertain themselves and their fans. Things started changing when people had to work and earn money for their live's needs, that was when we started doing all these things in order to get the rewards. This is what has made so many people to work really hard in order to appear the best in whatever they do so that they can gather as many awards as possible. Consider an actor like colin firth. He is one of the guys who has earned so many awards and money because of his acting talent. These awards have created so much fame for him, that is why he is celebrated to date. When you watch his movies, you will like them so much. This is because he has done his best to get what he has at the moment. This is the spirit we need if we are going to earn enough from our talents. |

A site like facebook is meant for socializing purposes where people meet and mingle exchange ideas and thoughts too. There are people who do not join these sites for that purpose. Most of them have their own selfish reasons that end up hurting other innocent facebook users. That is why there is a set of Facebook rules that are put so that people cannot break them. There are those who still break them. There is this one rule that is broken a lot. A facebook user is not supposed to put false information in that site. I know of very many perverts who are out to prey on young girls. These men lie they are younger so that they can get the girls to trust them and when the trust is established they take advantage of the little girls. These kids are not just girls even little boys. They know what will interest these kids and they establish with them via the site. This relationship is cultivated very fast because the kids believe that they are of the same age. |

Social networks are so prevalent in that they have begun to play a role in the process of job interviews. The people who interview job aspirants for their jobs also check them out on social sites like Facebook to find out what type of person someone is. This is because Facebook and other social sites have practically become a way of life and if you want to know someone further and even on a more personal level then check out their personal profiles. I know of an employer who does that. There are many people who have applied to get a job at his company and have not gotten the job not because they are not competent but because of their behaviors reflected on their facebook accounts. There was one applicant who knew that his track record on Facebook was not good. So what he did was that he close Facebook account permanently so that it would not cost him a good job. This favored him because the employer did not find any incriminating stuff on him. |

If you are most of the time acting as the bad guy, this is how people will perceive you even when they meet you in real life. Most of them tend to think that you are given this part because it will be easy for you to do what you have been used to doing practically. If you act as the simple laid back person, this is the same way people will perceive you, and they will like you because of your character. This is one way actors get affected because they have to prove that the roles they play are completely different from the people they are in real life. The late charles bronson is one man who was known for his tough guy acting. Every time he came on the screen he was always the bad guy, maybe it is because he was good at playing these roles and not that he is like that , and probably he had a hard time convincing people that it is not his real character but just an act that he put on when he went on screen. |

The most successful people in life are those whom when they fall, they do not remain down but get up, and keep on with their lives. Usually I do not even admire the lives of celebrities because most of them do not lead exemplary lives. There are though who at one time in their lives they had everything going on for them, had and still have a good career, fell in love and started a family and then hit rock bottom but they still rose up. These are the people who do not display perfect lives, because that is not how life is. Even the most successful people hit rock bottom and very few get out of it. whitney houston a musician who has won at least four hundred awards in her career in music is a perfect example of such celebrities. This is a woman whos career started off well, then there was a time she became addicted to drugs and people thought that it was the end of her career and her successful life. they were in for a surprise because she emerged after a long battle with drugs and she is making beautiful music once again. |

Many teenagers think that celebrities are the most amazing people in the world and many of them idolize them all the time. There is no problem with that, my parents would tell my brother and I. they would see how we used to rave about some celebrities and they had no problem with that. The only issue they had is when we picked up the bad habits that the celebrities had. My father would say that was not a life to envy especially if someone does not have a strong support system of friends and family who will be their voice of reason. Without the support system, the get in to drug addiction that slowly ruins their career but they slowly bounce back. robert downey jr is a perfect example of such celebrities. He is still a good actor despite his drug addiction. He started his career when he was only five years old and has lived in the lime light his whole life. he made several appearances in the popular television show ‘Ally McBeal’ and it was rumored that his drug abuse is what made him be discontinued in the show. This is what our parents would never condone and we know that if we ever became popular that they would be our voice of reason. |

Some will tell you that graffiti is art, that it's a culture, a way of life... I don't deny that there are some good graffiti pieces in the world, even art that people are willing to buy e.g. Banksy prints, but according to me it's vandalism! If it was good it would be legal. I know from a personal experience how much people are annoyed when their apartment building gets "tagged" or drawn on. They collect money every two months in order to repaint the whole building just because some people decide to "express themselves" onto their building. There are other ways to express yourself, like painting, drawing, writing poetry. There is no need for vandalism of public and private property, there are other ways to express yourself, other legal ways. You wouldn't like it if someone came into your own home and "tagged" it, right? You would have to buy new paint, and pay someone to repaint it, and in other words you have to spend your own money for something that you didn't do and which wasn't your fault. And that just isn't right. |

When people came together and ensured that they will put their minds together and come up with a social networking site that will make all be in a position of getting to meet online and rekindle their relationships, they did something that will be appreciated in so many years to come. Facebook is one of these social networking sites and it has a big number who have accounts with it. Getting to trace people you have not seen in a long while is one of the strong grounds for facebook and it is good that those who are not already in it to join. This will make it easy for them to be in an area where potential employers can see what they do. At times however one would want to close facebook for various reasons. If they feel that it is not possible for them to go on or some one has invaded their privacy, you are better off doing it and opening another. Go to your account, click close account and it will be done. |

Kids make mistakes all the time that cost them a lot and their parents put the blame on someone. This happens to teenagers mostly because they are at that stage where rebellion is at its best. There are laws that have been put to prevent kids who are underage indulging in activities that will be harmful to them. It is the responsibility of the parents to make sure that their kids adhere to these rules for their own good. There are those kids who still rebel and they do not get to take the fall, someone else takes the fall. This is what happened to the renowned song writer and musician akon. This is a musician whose music is a favorite to very many people and young girls adore him. There is a time he was held accountable for an under age girl who happened to be at a party that was strictly people who were of age. Akon had to take the fall because it was his performance and it was because it was his show, and furthermore someone had to take the fall. In fair terms this girl knew that what she was doing was wrong, so how will she ever learn that what she did was wrong if someone else took the fall for her?

This will prevent people you do not know from sending you messages or even viewing your photos. I have to admit that I am a facebook addict, and this is how I found out. If I was not logged in the computer, then I would be logged in to my phone and in most cases when I went to a room where that had no computer, then I accessed facebook through my phone. I even stopped checking my email because I was always on facebook, if not chatting with my friends then I would be playing the vast games that are in facebook. The internet browser I used when I was accessing facebook on my phone was opera mini and times it would be really slow taking a really long time to load. That I did not like, that is when I decided to download internet explorer eight. I never experienced facebook ie8 issues like I had with the other browsers. It never stalled when I was on facebook, and the security was amazing, my phone seized getting virus threats from the internet because internet explorer eight had the best security so far. |

Facebook has become one of the world&rsquos most visited social networking sites. Because of its unique features, people can get connected with each other even if they are miles apart. Aside from staying connected to your friends or families, it also gives opportunities to businessmen or women who would want to advertise their products for free. That is the best thing about facebook it is free, accessible and easily used by all people of any age. What I just hate about it is when some people invite you to become their friends even if you are not at all connected. If only they could create facebook awaiting friend confirmation cancel, it would be easier to reject such requests. I wish there could be some time limit given to those who are inviting you whom you don&rsquot know. I disagree to block these users from inviting you for it would be disrespectful for them. If I get such invites from people I don&rsquot know, I just reject them easily. Sometimes they re-invite me hoping they could be confirmed I just ignore their invitations and let it stay as a pending request. Even though facebook is a &ldquosocial&rdquo network, still it is important to keep your profiles limited to those whom you only know. |

Well you have got into the networking age now starting to visit social sites such as MySpace, Facebook and friendster's and now you're setting up your account and profiles to start meeting friends. Creating a profile is very important but if you're so ugly you want to hide your profile photo then I suggest just deleted out. how can i hide my default picture on myspace, a lot of these social sites you can change and edit settings to hide certain things from everyone or just for friends. If you don't want a profile photo then take the one off and replace it with an avatar or a photo of something else. When you're wanting to meet friends and even sometimes a possible new lover then it is best to put your real photo on your profile so that when they want to meet you they will know who you are and honestly some people their first impression is your photo. By some chance you are too ugly and I suggest maybe put in someone else's photo on there! |

When Dickens was still a student in the university he told me how dumb was his professor who got tricked by a hoaxer. Now that he himself got tricked- well he also said that to himself- he has more sympathy. He now could say that even the smartest guy could be a victim. No one is invincible when it comes to lies and deception. Our experience is really our best teacher and also we can teach and counsel people through our experiences. Dickens had quoted this on his about me section on facebook. I just laugh it out when I bumped into his account, not with sarcasm but because I can relate. It is really true that experience is the best teacher and I have seen that in Dickens. He also did a small scale campaign against this cyber crime and it&rsquos obvious in his networks. A friend had confided to him one day that he got scammed. Dickens listens sympathetically and offered help. He investigated his friend and gathered infos. He also solicited the help of his friends who work in a government agencies. |
